.When you remain calm in adversity and have strong faith, the Almighty will set things right in your life. He’ll give you back what was taken away from you. He’ll restore the goodness others tried to rob from you. He’ll grant ease and open doors that you couldn’t open!

.You’ve to admit that this year’s so far been a year where we questioned everything we believed to be “normal”. Perhaps this is what the Almighty wants us to learn; to fully submit to His Decree. All our best-laid plans have gone out of the window, a reminder of who’s in charge!‬

.When someone says something humiliating to you, don’t take it personally. No matter what you’ve done wrong, you don’t deserve to be humiliated. Take responsibility for your mistakes but it doesn’t mean that you’re an unworthy person who should be denigrated by someone else! ‬

.Be less quick to react to abusive people. Don't let them provoke you. That’s exactly what they want. For you to lose control and get angry. Don’t play their game. Keep your calm. Seek the Almighty’s help. Often, they are powerless when you're less reactive.

.Clean up your acts, not just with the Almighty but with people as well. Don’t let anyone have a single legitimate complaint against you that will negate the good you’ve done. Protect your good deeds. If you hurt someone, ask for forgiveness. Don’t delay it till the Hereafter!

.Choose your words carefully. Prefer kind, gentle & measured words over harsh speech always. Whatever you say can travel the world at lightning speed & you’ll live to regret it. Miscommunication is also common, especially in this age of texting. May we always use good words!

.There’s no need to shout out to the world how successful you are & what a charmed life you lead. People should only know what you allow them to know. Keep most of it private. Let them make their own assumptions. You can’t stop them anyway. Do you think that’s a good way to live?

.There’s always good in everyone. Strive to see that in others. No matter how small the act. Accept it when they make a mistake. We’re all human and not immune to wrongdoing. Correct them if you can, patiently with a kind heart. Don’t give up on people. Say a prayer for them!

.We’ve all made poor choices in life at some stage. Don’t beat yourself up. Instead of wasting more time & energy with regrets, guilt, shame & agony over what's done, use those resources to bring on change so that poor choices remain in the past & serve as valuable lessons learnt!‬

.It’s so easy to lose your cool! Train yourself to remain calm even in difficult situations. Stand your ground firmly but politely. Let them curse & swear. Choose to rise above cheap, verbal abuse that’s widespread today. They’ll realize their mistake & how offensive they were!

.‬The best way to improve your life is to do it one day at a time. It’s very tempting to cram many things all at once but don’t! You’re more likely to succeed with baby steps & a huge dose of prayer & supplication. Without the Almighty, nothing happens. So make that change today!

.The minute you think you’re more superior to the person next to you because of your skin color, that’s the beginning of your downfall. The Almighty looks at your heart! Get rid of any deep-seated feeling in you of one-upmanship & superiority. Seek refuge in Him. Save yourself!

.When you reach a stage where you can remain calm when calamity strikes, you’ve reached spiritual maturity. When you're not negatively affected by the drama around you, it shows you have complete faith in the Almighty and you know that nothing lasts!

.A sin is a sin. Even when you try to put a positive spin on sin, it’s still a sin. As long as you’re disobeying the Almighty, it’s a sin. But the beauty is with sincere repentance all that can be erased or even converted to good deeds if the Almighty wills. Turn back to Him!

.Choose kindness always. Put ourselves in someone else’s shoes instead of trying to figure out how they feel based on our limited viewpoint. How difficult is it to empathize with others when we don’t know their circumstances? It costs nothing. Just a big heart and an open mind! ‬
