.If you want to change, start by setting small goals from now. Change doesn't usually happen overnight. You may not be able to do everything the Almighty has prescribed instantly. Strive & show Him you’re sincere, He will pave a way for you!
.If your #Ramadan hasn’t been what you envisioned, don’t lose hope. As long as you’ve been trying your best, the Almighty knows & will reward you. You may be on a spiritual high or you may be spiritually broken, whichever the case, don’t stop asking Him. Don’t stop repenting.
.Don’t ignore the little warnings you get from your spiritual heart. Make it a priority to deal with emotions like anger, bitterness, resentment & bad attitudes. Don’t let such feelings fester. Seek the Almighty’s help to restore peace and calmness so you can feel whole again!
.Rumours are dangerous; they travel extremely fast. You could have entertained a rumour & not even knew; or worse you started it. Some people start a rumour simply because they have nothing to say. You may think it’s harmless. It’s not, flee from it. Have nothing to do with it!
.We live in a judgmental society. People will form their own conclusions of you based on a tweet or a Facebook status. They judge you on your appearance or even your accent. Just because you’re different from them, they look down on you. Stand your ground firmly but politely.
.Patience is indeed a virtue. We’re taught its value & how the Almighty rewards those who embody this quality. But at times as humans, we tend to get emotional over something & we run out of patience. Don’t feel bad. Keep the Almighty in focus. He will find a way out for you!
.Targeting women and newborn at a maternity hospital is a new low. It is heart-wrenching and wrong on all counts. My heart is shattered. What a senseless, brutal, barbaric act in the blessed month of #Ramadan. May the Almighty deal with the perpetrators of the #KabulAttack.8.You may think you’re a pious person & that you’re close to the Almighty. But if your character is flawed, you curse & swear, your heart is filled with envy & hatred, you gossip & backbite, you’re argumentative & highly intolerant, then this can’t be further from the truth!
.Giving what you love is the highest form of giving. We can give whatever we want but try to reach this level of giving. You’ll feel a huge sense of gratification envelop you. It also shows the state of your heart. It’s not too late to do this. Try it in these last blessed nights!
.Don't do anything to compromise the sanctity of these last nights in #Ramadan. Don't argue, swear, backbite or gossip. Focus solely on the Almighty. Do more good deeds, give generously and make an intent that every little bit you do is for Him and Him alone!
.Let’s face it. We fight battles daily. No one knows about them except the Almighty. Never forget that He is All-Knowing and He can help all. There is no pain or struggle that He is not aware of. He never ignores your pain. Remember, you’re not alone, even on your darkest days!
.Protect your inner peace and all the emotions that go with it. It’s important for your overall well-being. Don’t get involved in other people’s drama, no matter how much they try and persuade you. Save your energy for the important things that the Almighty will send your way!
.Whatever is stressing you, learn to let it go. Remember you were never in control in the first place. Everything that happens is by the Almighty’s Will and Decree. So don’t burden yourself with such stresses. Seek relief from Him alone. He will make a way out for you eventually!
.Your friends play an important role in your life. Be careful who you get close to because you start becoming like them. Your thoughts ideas and actions mimic your friends. It can be the most rewarding experience or the most difficult one. It’s your choice. Do it wisely!
.Let us change our thinking and go beyond merely treating others how we want to be treated. Think about others the way you’d want them to think of you. Feel for others the way you’d want them to feel about you. Speak to others the way you’d like them to speak to you! Try it today!
