life lesson by mufti menk-210
1. Remember that words like impossible, unheard of, unthinkable, unknown, unseen, and unexpected don’t mean anything to the Almighty. He can make everything happen at the drop of a hat. Your task is to do your best and trust Him completely with your life. You will be unstoppable.
2. Don’t worry about those who keep bringing up your past. Life isn't about who you once were. It's about who you have the potential to be. Everyone has a past so don’t let such talk deter you from looking ahead with positivity. Purify your intentions. Seek your strength from the Almighty.
3. Being pious doesn’t give you the right to be harsh to those around you. If at all, you should be gentler, kinder & always willing to extend a helping hand. Be strict with yourself by all means but when it comes to others, a softer approach will often achieve much more.
4. Almighty. Grant us the strength & clarity of mind to walk the path You have laid out for us. We do get overwhelmed. We stumble. We are worried constantly. We know that You’ve worked out every detail of our lives. Keep us firm in faith with the courage to fight off all doubts.
5.Focus your attention on yourself & look not for fault in others. Focus on how to be better than you used to be & not better than others. Every time you focus your attention outward, every time you choose to compare yourself with others, you will lose sight of who you really are.
6.There will be times when things happen and you can’t comprehend them. That’s okay. The Almighty works in amazing ways which our minds cannot fathom at times. Don’t try to understand everything. You’ll end up frustrated. You just have to trust Him. That’s where faith comes in.
7.We love to plan. What’s going to happen in a year, a month, a week? We’re always planning. Meticulously oftentimes. In the process, don't forget to live & focus on the twenty four hours right in front of you. What if that’s taken away from you?
8.Death is something we all share. Everyone will face it. There’s no escaping. So why do we live life as if it’s forever and we take death so lightly. We forget that it can overtake us anytime, anywhere. Life is short. Remember no one is promised tomorrow.
9.The ones who matter are those who cheer loudest for you when you’re down. They believe in you when others don’t. They stand by you when others have abandoned you. Such people are few and far between these days. You’re blessed if you have such a person in your life.
10.When your heart is heavy & burdened & your mind sees no way out, that’s when you need to trust the Almighty & depend on Him even more. Don’t entertain negative thoughts from Satan. Rise above it. It won’t be easy but you must do it. Bear utmost patience & He will find a way out.
11.When things are smooth, when everything is easy, you don’t learn much; you’re hardly growing as a person. Remember, the greatest lessons are learnt when you go through hardship and the storms of life. Embrace them and know that you will emerge stronger and better than before.
12.Stop worrying about how others will feel or whether they’ll accept it. This life’s too short for that. Be concerned about how things will be before the Almighty on Judgement Day. That’s your goal.
13.It’s easier to talk about something than to actually do it. What they say is important but watch what they do because that’s more important. At the end of the day, the answer is in how they treat you. Not what they say. Talk is effortless when words spoken have little value.
14.Saying "sorry" is easy, but only Allah knows the pain you've put them through. "Sorry" doesn't guarantee forgiveness. Avoid hurting, abusing or accusing in the first place. You wouldn't want them to complain to Allah about you. The consequence might be even more painful.
15.You may have been waiting for a long while. But you don’t see anything happening. Remember, a lot happens behind the scenes. The Almighty controls entire creation. Why are you doubting that He can fix your problem?
