life lesson by mufti menk-277
.This is the month of asking the Almighty for anything and everything. You may be anxious, stressed and disappointed so ask away every single day. Trust that what’s yours will be yours. He will see to it.
.If you don’t nurture your faith, it will weaken & leave you grappling with doubt. Satan will jump in at the slightest chance & create havoc in your mind. So protect yourself before your heart hardens. What better time to do it than in Ramadan.
.Almighty. Make us among those who fast sincerely for Your sake. Accept our worship and nights in prayer which we do in full submission. Keep us away from heedlessness and forgive all our sins. Aameen.
.Don’t stress over things you can’t control. Hand it over to the Almighty. There’s no need to spend sleepless nights thinking about your problems. It’ll get you nowhere. He can easily take care of things if only you’d trust Him. He’s the only One who can turn your life around.
.A diseased heart won’t be at ease. Make a conscious effort to get rid of pride, hatred, envy & anything that gets in the way of being fully focused on the Almighty. It won’t happen overnight but you’ll get there.
.Search your own heart. Could it be that your suspicion of the ulterior motives of others is because you’re prone to doing the same? Increase the habit of praising others & let thankfulness overflow to the Almighty when someone does something good to you. Try it. You’ll feel good.
.Search your own heart. Could it be that your suspicion of the ulterior motives of others is because you’re prone to doing the same? Increase the habit of praising others & let thankfulness overflow to the Almighty when someone does something good to you. Try it. You’ll feel good.
.Do you quarrel a lot? Ramadan is a great time to get into the habit of avoiding quarreling. There’s a huge reward of a special house in Paradise if you’re able to avoid quarreling, even if you are in the right.
.Ramadan is a very special month. Don’t waste it. Make an effort because the Almighty has given us concessions and huge rewards. Losing out would be foolish.
.Based on the school of thought followed regarding the moon sighting, your Ramadan WILL begin. Some use telescopes while others only use the naked eye. Some follow a local or regional sighting while others believe in a global sighting. And some actually just do a calculation and don't bother with the sighting itself. Whichever one you follow, I wish you a BLESSED RAMADAN!
.The past is over. Today is a new day; you are not the same person you were yesterday. Believe that today will be better than yesterday. It’s about looking up with hope and looking forward. Look for new opportunities that the Almighty has planned for you.
.You may be doing all the right things but you’re not seeing results. You keep asking the Almighty and you think it’s all come to a standstill. Don’t give up. Keep enduring, keep persevering. It’s always darkest before dawn.
.When you’re always making assumptions about others, you damage your capacity to relate to them. You’re always assuming you know how they think & feel so you stop listening & communicating, leading to misunderstanding. Be mindful because this could spiral into negative thinking.
