life lesson by mufti menk-289

.Every night of Ramadan is a door. Some walk past it. Some knock. And some enter with tears and come out forgiven. Almighty, protect us from Hellfire and grant us Your Forgiveness.

.If you let Ramadan pass without seeking & being granted His Forgiveness, you have truly missed out. So don't let ignorance & negligence overtake you. Seek His Forgiveness to get closer to Him. Do it in these last days.

.Almighty. Help us make the most of the remaining time of this month to get closer to You. You have granted immense blessings & shown us how patience is key to our trials. Protect us, grant us ease & forgiveness. Aameen.

.Ramadan is almost over. Don't waste the most blessed nights of Ramadan in that which is sinful or futile. Engage in prayer, remembrance, recitation, repentance and charity. Make the most of the blessings.

.Haters are those with low self-esteem. They don’t believe in themselves; so they try to put other people down in a sick way to lift themselves up. Don’t let their criticism and negativity distract you from your goals in life.

.Haters are those with low self-esteem. They don’t believe in themselves; so they try to put other people down in a sick way to lift themselves up. Don’t let their criticism and negativity distract you from your goals in life.

.Don’t ask the Almighty for help only as the last resort. Call out to Him repeatedly with prayer and supplication at times of ease and at times of hardship. The combination of gratitude (sabr) and patience (shukr) is what benefits us most.

.Don’t underestimate the power of prayer.

.It’s natural to feel broken if you’ve been treated badly or been the subject of rumours etc. ‬But remember, some things are not within your control. Turn every anxiety, fear and concern into a supplication. Look at it as another reason to submit to Him. Let Him take over.

.Almighty. Guide us towards goodness beyond this month for Your sake only. Keep us steadfast, enduring the trials You send our way. Grant us a soft heart, always content with Your Decree. Grant us sincerity, success & protect us from harm. Aameen

.When you don't know EXACTLY what's going on, it's best not to say the wrong thing. Let those with a deeper understanding in that matter say what needs to be said. The Prophetic teaching to those who believe in the day of reckoning is to "utter what's upright or remain silent".

.Why can’t we be happy when others do well? Be prepared for haters to come out in full force when you share your success story especially on social media. They might ridicule you, spread rumours about you or even spew harsh words. Don’t worry. Focus on what’s right & keep going.

.Almighty. Help us to protect our acts of worship. May we not be among those who pray, fast & give charity but curse, swear, gossip & backbite without batting an eyelid. Keep us mindful of such behaviour.

.Read the signs when the Almighty’s telling you to move on. Don’t put a question mark where He has put a full stop. It’s not in our capacity to fully comprehend all that’s going on. Only He does. Our job is to trust Him. But know that He will heal the pain & mend the broken heart.

.If you don’t nurture your faith, it will weaken & leave you grappling with doubt. What better time to do it than in Ramadan. ‪Satan will normally jump in at the slightest chance & create havoc in your mind. But he’s locked up now. So protect yourself before your heart hardens.
