life lesson by mufti menk 1. Live a life of gratitude. Constantly remind yourself of the good things the Almighty has sent your way. The uncountable blessings He has bestowed on you. Too often, we let the negative things from our past take centre stage. Don’t. Think of the positive and the beneficial. 2. Almighty. We beg You to grant us peace of mind amidst the turmoil we face in our daily lives. Don’t let the anxiety and stress get the better of us. Grant us clarity of vision to do what’s best. Guide us on this journey of life which is often paved with obstacles. Aameen. 3. Think hard of the ones you may have hurt in the course of your life. Do your best to seek them out and make peace. You’ll feel a lot better that way. But know that they may reject you. If that happens, take comfort you have tried. Ask the Almighty to soften their hearts. 4. Life isn’t easy. Don’t expect a walk in the park just because you say you believe. You must expect the unexpected turns and curveballs. They

life lesson by mufti menk 1. We’re in a sad state today. It has become more difficult to distinguish truth from falsehood. Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers some people. Be cautious of what you hear and spread to others. 2. Be yourself. No matter what they say. Don’t try to fit into their mould. Don’t worry about what they say. Don’t try to please anyone but the One who made you. You’re unique. That’s how the Almighty made you. 3. Almighty. On this blessed day, may You grant us what we have been praying for. May all our supplications be answered. May every tear that has fallen down our cheeks because of worldly disappointments be equivalent to the best rewards in Your Paradise. Aameen. 4. When you leave this world, what matters is not your material possession or your wealth but your words and actions that have touched the hearts and lives of others. These continue to live on long after you've gone. 5. Unfortunately, man is always in a hurry. Take time to

life lesson by mufti menk 1. You don’t have to understand His Plan. You just have to trust that there’s a reason behind everything He does. With that in mind, keep going because every step brings you closer to your final destination. 2. Life can be hard to comprehend at times. No matter how good you are to them, don’t expect them to treat you the same. Sometimes the people you love the most, turn out to be the people you can trust the least. 3. Do you sometimes feel like you’re stuck in a rut, not making any progress? Well, at times, growth requires new company, new location, and new mindsets! Are you ready for that? 4. Building your faith takes time. Strengthening your faith takes even more time. How so? Faithfulness is not proven in times of comfort and bliss but in times of struggle and hardship. Do you have what it takes to trust the Almighty and bear beautiful patience? 5. Almighty. We ask You to heal the betrayed and broken-hearted. Not everyone can recover from the deep hurt

life lesson by mufti menk 1. Stop revisiting your past. It no longer exists. It doesn’t define you. It’s a good reminder but don’t allow it to hinder your future. As long as it woke you up from your slumber and you’re trying to fix things for the better, that’s good enough. The Almighty sees your efforts. 2. Let’s face it. Many love to vent. They feel like venting to others takes a load off their chest and makes them feel better. Learn how to heal without venting to everyone. Turn to the Almighty for all your needs. After all, He’s the only One who knows everything about you. 3. Almighty. Help us think of death often and the fact that we will all be returning to You. Help us realise that it could happen anytime. Take us only when You are totally pleased with us. In the mean time help us prepare well for that long-awaited meeting with You. Aameen 4. Be mindful who you allow on your boat. The wrong people could do untold damage to the whole boat, even causing it to capsize. Steer clear

life lesson by mufti menk 1. Almighty. There’s so much going on in the world around us. We beg You to help everyone who’s going through pain & hardship in life. Many feel broken. May You grant ease, remove all obstacles & guide us all out of difficulty. Make us completely dependent on You and You alone. 2. Don't you dare give up because you’re tired of waiting. How could you? Have you forgotten the Almighty’s promise? He won’t burden you with that which you have no ability to bear. Trust Him. He’s in full control & watching over you. Keep going; your breakthrough is in sight. 3. Do you often wonder, “why does this keep happening to me?” Perhaps it’s time for self-reflection. Perhaps the same behavioural patterns are giving you the same, unwanted results. Perhaps, the Almighty wants you to learn the lesson before He elevates you to the next level. 4. Leave people better than when you found them. Smile, lend a helping hand, use good words; do what it takes. Go out of yo

life lesson by mufti menk 1. You seldom get second chances with humans. Once you’ve messed up, you’re labelled a failure. With the Almighty, it’s completely different. You’ll be given a second, third, fourth chance etc. He’ll always throw you a lifeline. Call on Him & He will lift you out of your misery. 2. If you have friends who will show up when you’re down, you’re blessed. There are too many fair-weather friends in this world. Remember, not everyone has the capacity and will to be present when you’re not shining. It takes a special heart to do that. 3. Things didn’t work out because you were under the Almighty’s Divine Protection. Understand His Plan. Yet half the time we pine for what’s over and gone and refuse to accept that He did it in our best interest. He always does. 4. Let people assume whatever they want about you. You’re not responsible for their assumptions and whatever else they think they know about you and who you’re supposed to be. You can’t stop them anyway. I

life lesson by mufti menk 1. Almighty. Keep reminding us that whatever You do is for our good. Nothing’s lost. Help us quit looking at how impossible it is, how long it’s been, what we don’t have. Help us shake off the disappointments, what didn’t work out. Help us see the blessing & positive side of things. 2. Feeling down and getting impatient with life’s tests? There is always someone out there who has it worse than you. Don’t forget that. The Almighty has blessed you with more than you could ever ask for, without even asking for it. So always be grateful and He will grant you more. 3. The fact is we’re too quick to judge others. We label the quiet ones as snobbish. Has it occurred to us that they could be hiding a deep pain & prefer not to talk about it? Be gentle with people just like we’d like them to be gentle with us. Don’t assume anything. 4. In the heat of the moment, a lot of things are normally being said, often without second thought; meaning people are just proj
