  1. What goes on around you is not something you can control. But what goes on inside you is something you can control. In fact, you have to control it or it will ruin your peace. You need to be centered, focused and single-minded so you can weather any storm that comes your way. 2. Be grateful not just occasionally but daily. Don’t take anything for granted because as much as He gives, He can also take away. Thank Him for all that you have. Don’t compare your life to others. They may look ‘“perfect” on social media but they all have problems in real life. 3. When you ask the Almighty for something, ask with confidence. Ask with positivity. He always hears and knows what is best for you. If what He gave you seemed like a NO to your request, understand that He has something better in store. Embrace what you have and look ahead. 4. When someone is hurtful or racist towards you, don’t reciprocate. It doesn’t give you the green light to behave the same towards them. Don’t let the ugl...

  1. The world is getting more selfish. Every man for himself. But don’t be selfish with your prayer. Pray for your friends, your family, loved ones, as well as those you don't know. Remember, you may think it’s not much but your sincere prayer can change someone's life. 2. The Almighty tests us with success as He does with failure. Some find it so easy to forget Him when success comes their way. But if you remember that your success and everything else comes from Him, you will pass the test with flying colours. 3. Are you feeling tired & discouraged? To get out of the rut, you need to change your mindset. Adopt positive thoughts. Believe that the Almighty wants good for you. He will give you strength & power to overcome. Start moving towards Him. Trust the process & feel the difference. 4. Don’t be daunted by the road ahead. Yes, it may seem long. But the Almighty has it all planned for you. You need to start the journey even if it’s with baby steps. You will pick...

  1. Almighty. Take away worry, fear and doubt from us. Calm our troubled hearts. Free us from anxiety and stress. Help us trust in Your Mercy. Wholeheartedly. Aameen 2. Stop wondering what people will think about you. Life is too short for that. 3. The more wealth you accumulate, the higher the likelihood that you’ll become preoccupied with this world, neglecting your link with your Maker. You may also become addicted to the wealth. Disease of the heart such as bragging & showing off may follow. 4. Start now. There are people out there who need you to do something nice while you can. One day, you might be that person in need too. You never know. Do it from your heart and not out of pity. You will find it gets easier and easier, until it becomes a way of life. 5. When everything seems to be against you and you start thinking that you’re a loser, think again. Is there any limit to the Almighty’s power? Did He not bring you this far? Do you think He will abandon you? When you be...

  1. Are you guilty of deriving pleasure from the misfortune of others? Something bad happens to someone else and you’re secretly happy. Be careful. It shows a poisonous heart which willl get worse if you don’t check it. Empathize, be kind and show compassion instead. 2. Be wary of the internet. Don't let it turn you into a cynical person.   1. Whatever the Almighty has planned for you is for you alone. No one and nothing can stop it from coming to you. Just keep believing. Just keep trusting. It will unfold in due course, according to His timing, not yours. Remember, with Him nothing is impossible. 2. Almighty. Grant ease to those who’ve lost loved ones. Surround them with good company who will offer words of comfort & solace during difficult times. Remove the heaviness from their hearts & let peace reign again. May we be reunited with our loved ones in Paradise. Aameen. 3. When people have to lie about you in order to discredit you, thank the Almighty that He has elevated you and granted you great success. Always be grateful, no matter how small the blessing. He never sends a calamity except that ease follows. Keep connecting wi...

1.  Avoid complaining about who wronged you and who treated you unfairly. It’s all part of the Almighty’s plan to teach you life lessons; that’s why He allowed it. Once you’ve learnt them, you’ll be ready for new opportunities. He will open new doors for you. ‬ 2. When you’ve achieved something good, be prepared for the haters to come out in full force. They might ridicule you, spread rumours about you or even spew harsh words. Don’t worry. Focus on what’s right & keep going. The Almighty is on your side. 3. Despite all that's going on, don't let anger and hatred harden your heart. Think of the Almighty, His blessings and the less fortunate; those who have less than you. That should soften your heart.‬ 4. Remember, your end goal is Paradise. So the good that you’ve been doing during Ramadan should continue. Don’t let up. Don’t make it a short-term goal. Paradise is the ultimate destination in this lifelong journey. Strive to get there. 5. Almighty. Guide us to the best of ...
